Doctor Andrea Slachevsky was recognized by the French government for her contributions to scientific cooperation.

Various research projects, meetings to promote academic cooperation, and the academician’s own biography, are those that converge in the recent announcement of the French government through which it recognized Professor Andrea Slachevsky with the distinction “National Order of Merit“.

This recognition was announced by the French ambassador in Chile, Roland Dubertrand, representing President Emmanuel Macron. “This is an initiative of the French Embassy because they found relevant the contribution in strengthening cooperation between Chile and France in health and research, especially in the area of cognitive disorders and dementia,” explained the creditor of the recognition.

“For me it is super significant. I was trained there and I am French-Chilean. It is a country that has been super relevant from the personal and academic point of view. I had the possibility of having a formation in cognitive neurology at a high level,” detailed Dr. Slachevsky
